MISSION

Airdrie and District Hospice Society supports compassionate, community‑based hospice and palliative support in Airdrie—helping patients and their families access community resources, reducing barriers, and sharing grief support resources all with dignity and empathy.

VISION

A community where no one dies alone—whether at home, in a healthcare setting, or eventually, a dedicated hospice bed. We aim to provide ripples of Compassion - Rooted in Care, Grounded in Community. Families and friends are supported before, during, and after loss. The determination to invest in palliative care is a hallmark of strong communities. We aim for the future, that Airdrie will have a built hospice or dedicated beds, sustainably funded and community-rooted.

COORDINATED ACCESS AND ADVOCACY

We enhance community support by connecting people to hospice services, resources and programs through compassionate education.

COMMUNITY-DRIVEN, STORY-BASED IMPACT

By sharing stories of care and healing, we illustrate the real difference your support makes—bringing empathy into action.

Empowered by collaboration, volunteer engagement, and shared stories, we strengthen the fabric of community hospice care.
