Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink (BFK) is a non-profit program run under the Calgary Shaw Charity Classic Foundation.
All donations through BFK are matched up to 50%!
Airdrie & District Hospice Society is honoured to be a recipient of the proceeds from this amazing program. We will receive 100% of the donations designated to the Airdrie & District Hospice society, and up to an additional 50% of funds through the matching gift program.
The Shaw Charity Classic is a PGA TOUR Champions event featuring professional golfers among the likes of Golf Hall of Famers Tom Watson, Fred Couples, and Colin Montgomerie.
2021 marks the 7th year of Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink. The motto for the tournament’s charitable efforts is ‘Kids Need Heroes.’ The 2021 Shaw Charity Classic will be held August 11 - August 15, 2021.
